Hi, I'm Seth Wiersma. Thank you for checking out my brand new website. This site has been months in the making, but we're finally here and I'm excited to share it with you.

Like many others, aviation has always been my passion. As a teenager, I started with remote-controlled model aircraft and quickly became fascinated with real airplanes. I used to ride my motorized bicycle out to the local airport on weekends just to hang out and talk with staff and pilots. That eventually led to a job at the airport, where I got hands-on exposure to the aviation world.

On my 16th birthday, one of my pilot friends took me up for my first flight in a Beechcraft Baron 55 — an unforgettable experience that sealed my commitment to aviation. Thanks to a scholarship from AOPA (Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association), I began flight training soon after.

Today, I live in Dallas, TX, holding a private pilot certificate with about 240 flight hours. I'm preparing for my instrument and commercial checkrides, with plans to begin multi-engine training soon.

Outside of flying, I work as a line technician at a busy FBO at Dallas Love Field, which has given me unique access to aviation operations and aircraft. The journey has been full of ups and downs, but I've gained invaluable friendships and knowledge along the way.
